Veteran Development Center
The Veteran Development Center is a structural unit of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
The Veteran Development Center is a structural subdivision of the Department of Social Educational Initiatives and Community Development of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
The Center organizes and conducts activities related to career guidance and individual professional development of servicemen (mobilized persons), discharged military personnel, including war veterans and their family members, families of deceased (fallen) war veterans, families of fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine, as well as provides educational services within the established scope in accordance with certified educational programs at the University.
The main areas of activity of the Center include:

Preparation and organization of training for specialists in supporting war veterans and demobilized persons, and development of individual educational paths for veterans and their families.

Implementation of measures for the recognition of professional qualifications obtained in other countries, with the issuance of relevant documents.

Coordination of educational programs for training, retraining, and professional development of war veterans and their families.

Provision of socio-psychological support during the training process for war veterans and their families.

Organization of events for Karazin University students aimed at fostering national and patriotic education of youth, including honoring the heroic deeds of war veterans who defended the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and inviolability of Ukraine.
