Academic Programs

The School of Computer Sciences offers Bachelor’s degree programs in Computer Sciences and Information Technologies; Information Control Systems and Technologies; Computer Engineering; Cybersecurity. Security of Information and Communication Systems; Automation and Computer-Integrated Technologies. Computerized Control Systems and Automation.

The School offers Master’s programs in Automation and Computer-Integrated Technologies. Computerized Control Systems and Automation; Computer Sciences and Information Technologies; Information Control Systems and Technologies; Cybersecurity. Security of Information and Communication Systems.

Duration of study: 4 years for a Bachelor’s degree, 1.5 years for a Master’s degree.

The School has postgraduate programs “Mathematical Modeling and Computational Methods” and “Information Technologies”.

The School consists of five departments, Center for Information Technologies, Open CISCO Networking Academy.

History

The School of Computer Sciences was founded on August 7, 2001 by the University School of Mechanics and Mathematics and the School of Physics and Technology. In the following years, the School expanded its areas of training, significantly improved its material and technical facilities, enhanced scientific research. In 2007, the Center for Information Technologies was established at the School.

The School trains specialists for high technologies related to computer control and information security of modern information systems, process modeling and control of nuclear, radiation and plasma technologies, development and operation of computer control systems for communication and radio electronic complexes, development of modern cybersecurity systems.
