The Institute of Continuing Education of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, established on 1 September 2025, is the legal successor of the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance (Part-Time) Learning.
The Institute ensures the implementation of priority tasks in the field of modern postgraduate and andragogical education, professional development (including individual training programmes and internships), and retraining of teaching and academic staff, as well as other interested professionals from various educational institutions, organisations, institutions, individuals, and potential stakeholders.
Mission of the Institute: to support learners in their holistic and professional development as leading specialists in education and other fields, to enhance their professional competencies, to acquire a wide range of diversified knowledge, to modernise acquired skills to expand existing professional, subject-specific, digital, inclusive, and other competencies, and to strengthen leadership qualities, among others.
Structure of the Institute:
- Centre for Professional Development and Retraining;
- Centre for Monitoring Educational Initiatives.
Form of study – institutional.
The Institute conducts a wide range of diversified scientific-methodological and scientific-practical activities, including seminars, conferences, trainings, workshops, brainstorming sessions, clusters, business games, and master classes, taking into account the needs of potential learners and stakeholders.
