Student council
Today, student self-government is an important factor in the development of any quality education. It is this that allows young people to participate in the management of an educational institution, regulate public life, and fully resolve the issues of education and life.
The representative and executive bodies of student self-government are the Student Council of the University and the Student Council of the campus, and the highest body is the Conference of Students of Karazin University. Self-government is implemented at the level of a university, faculty, student group, as well as a campus, a dormitory, a block (floor) of a dormitory. Student councils ensure the implementation of the decisions of the Conference of University Students. Delegates to the Conference are elected from the students of the faculties in accordance with the number of persons studying there, but not less than 2% of the total number of students.
The Student Council is the executive body of students' social activities, which represents the university in local, regional, all-Ukrainian and international organizations. The activity of student councils of the university is regulated by the legislation of Ukraine, resolutions and orders of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Statute of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, Regulations on student self-government.
