Psychologist's Day
April 23 is traditionally celebrated as the All-Ukrainian Psychologist's Day.
Psychology as a science has gone through a long path of development — from the first experimental studies in the late 19th century to modern interdisciplinary approaches that combine knowledge from medicine, sociology, neuroscience, and pedagogy. Today, psychologists are an integral part of many fields, including education, healthcare, business, public administration, media, and social work.
In times of social transformation and challenges, the role of psychologists becomes especially significant. Their work is not only a profession but also a daily responsibility that requires deep knowledge, empathy, and resilience. It is important not only at the individual level but also serves as a vital component in maintaining the mental health of the nation.
Karazin University places great emphasis on the development of psychological education and science. The School of Psychology has been training highly qualified specialists for over two decades, combining fundamental theoretical preparation with practical skills. The faculty’s teachers and researchers actively study current issues, implement innovative methods, and contribute to providing psychological support.
We sincerely congratulate all psychologists on their professional holiday! We wish you inspiration, professional growth, and inner harmony. May your work continue to strengthen society, support people, and promote the development of humanistic values.
