Kharkiv Lyceum "Intellect" Students Explore Karazin University's Scientific Opportunities

As part of its career guidance activities, V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University welcomed students from the private educational institution Kharkiv Lyceum "Intellect".

The visitors took part in an engaging programme combining educational and scientific activities. The students attended a lecture on astronomy, where they learned about contemporary space exploration, the structure of the Universe, celestial objects, and the major achievements of modern astronomical science.

One of the highlights of the visit was a tour of the Museum of Astronomy and the Planetarium of Karazin University. The students had an opportunity to observe operational telescopes, learn about their design and operating principles, and discover how these instruments are used in modern astronomical observations.

The students also visited the Museum of Nature of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, one of the oldest and richest natural history museums in Ukraine. During the excursion, they explored unique collections of minerals, palaeontological artefacts, and specimens of flora and fauna from different parts of the world.

Such activities contribute to students' career orientation, broaden their understanding of contemporary science, and help prospective applicants gain a better understanding of the academic environment at Karazin University.
