Karazin University Hosts a Meeting 'The Brand and Mission of a Modern Ukrainian University'

On October 12, 2023, a meeting on the topic 'The Brand and Mission of a Modern Ukrainian University' took place at the Karazin University Archaeology Museum.

Marina Hryhorieva, Head of the Global Development Department, spoke to first-year students of the Institute of Public Administration at Karazin University about the concept and components of a brand, discussed the difference between the concepts of PR and advertising, and highlighted the peculiarities of branding in higher education institutions. 

The meeting also involved a lively discussion about the tasks and mission of modern Ukrainian universities. Taking Karazin University as an example, students examined everyday practices of university life during times of war.

After the discussion, the students were given a tour of the Archaeology Museum. During the tour, the first-year students learned about the scientific research conducted by Karazin archaeologists and had the opportunity to explore the exhibits.
