Director of the Education and Research Institute "School of Physics and Technology," member of the NGO "Ukrainian Nuclear Society" (UkrYaT) Phylyp Kuznetsov was elected to the Higher Scientific Council of the European Nuclear Society (ENS).

The candidacy of Phyly Kuznetsov was nominated by the Ukrainian Nuclear Society to represent the public organization and Ukraine in this prestigious scientific body of the European nuclear community.

The ENS Higher Scientific Council consists of highly reputable scientists from several European countries and serves as a scientific body within the Society, advising ENS on developments related to the nuclear sector in various scientific fields, including physics, biology, medicine, engineering, and social sciences, and their impact on society.

Additionally, the ENS Higher Scientific Council develops position papers for the general public to clarify key issues and garner support on crucial topics related to nuclear energy, particularly its important and necessary role in combating climate change.

The goal of these works is a critical review of the current situation in science and technology, of interest to society.
