The University Celebrates Lawyer's Day
Every year on October 8, Ukraine celebrates Lawyer's Day, a holiday honoring those who stand for law and justice, protect citizens' rights, and shape the legal culture of society. It was on this day in 1016 that Kyiv Prince Yaroslav the Wise issued the first code of laws, "Ruska Pravda," laying the foundation for justice for future generations.
The School of Law at Karazin University represents a blend of tradition and innovation. For over 200 years, the university has been one of the leading educational and scientific centers, and the School of Law remains a reliable hub for training the next generation of legal experts.
The school not only provides a solid knowledge base but also actively implements modern teaching methods, including mock trials, international conferences, and internships with leading law firms. This gives students practical experience even before graduation, preparing them for the challenges of the modern world.
Lawyer's Day at Karazin University is not just an occasion to recognize the importance of legal education but also a reminder that the professionals trained within the university's walls can change the future for the better, standing for justice and fairness.
