Meeting of the University Scientific and Methodological Council

On March 27, 2026, a regular meeting of the University Scientific and Methodological Council was held at Karazin University, during which актуальні issues related to the development of the educational process, research activities, and methodological support were discussed.

Within the first agenda item, Yevhen Meniailov delivered a presentation on the use of artificial intelligence in the educational process and research activities.

Mykhailo Tatarinov reported on the results of professional development of the university’s academic staff in 2025, focusing on expanding opportunities for lecturers’ professional growth and improving the internal training system.

Considerable attention was paid to the issue of unifying mandatory educational components across relevant specialities within educational and professional programmes. Presentations were delivered by Liudmyla Kulachok-Titova, Ivan Karpenko, Larysa Hryhorova-Berenda, Anna Chkheailo, Yuliia Prasul, Yevhen Meniailov, Serhii Petrov, Tetiana Liadova, and Hanna Panasenko. The discussion aimed to ensure the coherence of educational programmes and to enhance their quality in line with modern higher education standards.

Serhii Kozlov presented proposals regarding the recommendation for publication and online dissemination of methodological materials prepared by the university’s academic staff.

In the section of current issues, Dmytro Semenets informed participants about the closure of educational programmes of the Bakhmut Education and Research Professional Pedagogical Institute and their removal from the Unified State Electronic Database on Education.

Additionally, the Council considered recommending for approval by the University Academic Council a certificate programme titled “Ensuring the Safety of Life and Health of Participants in the Educational Process in Conditions of Limited Educational Space,” presented by Mykhailo Tatarinov.

Furthermore, members of the Scientific and Methodological Council supported the recommendation to approve a second (Master’s) level educational and professional programme in the field of knowledge I “Healthcare and Social Welfare,” speciality I7 “Therapy and Rehabilitation” (specialisation I7.01 “Physical Therapy”), presented by Mariia Brynza.
