In-Person Practical Training Continues for Students of the Education and Research Institute “Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogics Academy”

26 may 2026 year

During May–June 2026, an in-person practical training program will be held in the safe learning environments of the Education and Research Institute “Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogics Academy,” particularly in the laboratories of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Electric Power Engineering. The program is intended for students enrolled in the G3 Electrical Engineering and A5 Vocational Education (Energy Engineering) degree programs.

Students will develop fundamental practical skills in working with electrical engineering equipment and assembling basic control circuits for electric motors and electro-pneumatic drives used in industrial automated systems.

Nearly 40% of all students enrolled in these programs have already joined the practical training, and registration remains open.

Classes are conducted in small groups and only upon prior registration, with full compliance with air-raid safety procedures. The laboratories are located in a shelter facility and are equipped with backup power supplies.

Through this initiative, the Department of Electrical Engineering and Electric Power Engineering is testing a new educational format adapted to the conditions of a frontline city. This approach is designed to ensure the high-quality development of both theoretical knowledge and practical skills among future professionals in Ukraine’s energy sector and energy education system.
