FORWARD Project Hosts Workshop on Developing Online Courses and Open Educational Resources

On 26 October 2026, the practical workshop "MOOC and OER Development Workshop" was held as part of the international project "FORWARD — Urban Resilience & Open Science in War Regions", funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ programme. The workshop focused on the development of massive open online courses (MOOCs) and open educational resources (OERs).

The workshop aimed to establish a common approach to developing modern online courses, facilitate knowledge sharing among international partners, and build practical skills in digital educational content development. Participants discussed the key principles of online course design and structuring, the preparation of learning materials, and the use of digital tools to make educational resources more accessible and interactive.

During the practical sessions, participants explored the process of creating digital educational materials, from developing case descriptions and learning scenarios to producing short educational videos with subtitles, creating H5P interactive resources, integrating them into the Moodle learning platform, and uploading the relevant materials to the FORWARD Dataverse repository.
