Karazin University Representatives Participate in the Specialized Training “Production of the Radiopharmaceutical Sodium Pertechnetate (Extraction Grade)”
Our university’s multidisciplinary team continues to enhance its skills and broaden its expertise in the field of nuclear medicine.
Recently, representatives of Karazin University participated in the specialized training course “Production of the Radiopharmaceutical Sodium Pertechnetate (Extraction Grade)”. This is an important milestone, as technetium-99m is considered the “gold standard” of modern radionuclide diagnostics and is widely used for the early detection of oncological, cardiovascular, and many other diseases.
Why is this important for us?
Multidisciplinarity in action. Modern nuclear medicine is built on the synergy of physics, chemistry, biology, and medicine. Our specialists continue to strengthen their expertise at the intersection of these disciplines.
Hands-on experience. The training focused on real-world technological processes involved in the production of radiopharmaceuticals, quality control procedures, and radiation safety practices.
Integration into the European research and education space. The training was conducted within the framework of the NURECAB project, creating new opportunities for international cooperation and the implementation of advanced practices in Ukraine.
More information about the training and the project is available via the link provided.
We sincerely thank the organizers for this valuable opportunity and for the high quality of the training.
We continue moving forward toward new scientific achievements!
