University President Tetyana Kaganovska addressed colleagues within the European Universities Forum
On December 1-2, 2022, Palacký University in Olomouc (Czech Republic) held the European Universities Forum. At the event, the participants had the opportunity to discuss and evaluate the significance of the pilot stage of the European Universities Initiative in the context of higher education in the Czech Republic and within the framework of European goals in the field of higher education.
The rector of the university Tetyana Kaganovska was invited to participate in the second panel discussion "Ambitions, Challenges & Best Practices of Pioneering European University Alliances". Tetyana prepared a video message in which she thanked her European colleagues for the help and support of the university within the Aurora Alliance, namely the institutional coordinator of Palacký University — Aurora Selma Porobich for coordinating support efforts, as well as the Free University of Amsterdam, the University of Iceland, the University of Innsbruck and the Copenhagen School of Business by promoting a number of initiatives within the framework of the Aurora Action Plan.
The president also noted that it would be important for other alliances to take into account one Ukrainian educational institution, as Aurora did with Karazin University with the support of the European Commission and governments. Then real effective support can develop in the future.
This forum became a place for creating new ideas on mobilizing universities to promote common European values, to improve the quality and international competitiveness of European institutions of higher education.
