Results of the 5th all-university competition of youth entrepreneurship "Winter Startup Session 2022"
The 5th all-university competition of youth entrepreneurship "Winter Startup Session 2022" has ended. Unfortunately, due to shelling of the russian federation, it was not possible to hold it in the usual format, but thanks to the teams, their mentors and judges, the competition was still held in a remote format.
According to the results of the competition, the first place was won by:
- students of NNI "Karazin Banking Institute" Yulia Gorbunova and Diana Potapenko with the project "Colored dreams" - a health and educational institution for children from hot spots of Ukraine;
- students of the Faculty of Economics Anastasia Lonska and Nani Davydenko with the project "Way to Job" - an application that helps young people build a path to their dream job.
The second place was shared by:
- Karina Pervysheva, a student of Karazin School of Business, with the "Try Yourself" project — a career guidance program that helps applicants make a conscious choice of profession;
- Danylo Prus, a student of the Faculty of Economics, with the "САО" project — an application for pet owners.
The third place was won by:
- students of the Faculty of Economics Elizaveta Danileyko and Yulia Dyachenko with the project "MyVocab" — an interactive dictionary for learning a foreign language;
- students of the Faculty of Economics Maria Gromova and Olesya Kobylchenko with the project "disStress" - an application that increases emotional intelligence.
Also, each project was evaluated by judges based on nominations.
In the nomination "Compliance of the project to the needs of society and the economy of the country", the "Colored dreams" project and the "diStress" project won.
The CAO project received the "Best Business Model" nomination.
The "MyVocab" project and the "disStress" project won in the nomination "Best solution to the problems of potential customers".
The "Best Presentation" nomination went to the "Way to Job" project.
The "Try Yourself" project and the "Way to Job" project were the best in the "Best Project Idea" nomination.
We thank the judges who supported the competition: head of the DAAD International project "Ukraine digital 'Joukraine'" at the University of Applied Sciences of Southern Westphalia (Meschede, Germany), mentor at Start-up Accelerator Anna Kocherova; commercial director of "KRON" company Roman Orlov; Oleh Fitak, head of the marketing department of the Flex Reality company; People Business Partner, representative of Anheuser Bush InBev (Ukraine) Alina Ilchenko; coordinator of the YEP entrepreneurial club, associate professor of the department of marketing, management and entrepreneurship of the Faculty of Economics of the Karazin University, Galina Tymokhova.
The high quality of the projects and the preparation of the teams is the unconditional merit of the mentors who inspired and supported the competition participants. In particular, they were the head of the department of banking business and financial technologies of NNI "Karazinsky Banking Institute" Galina Azarenkova, associate professor of the department of banking business and financial technologies of Educational and scientific institute "Karazinsky Banking Institute" Kateryna Orekhova, associate professor of the department of marketing, management and entrepreneurship of the Faculty of Economics of Karazin University Galina Mozgova.
