The tournament brought together 35 teams from different countries around the world.

The team members were:

  • Viktoriia Borzii (Kharkiv Lyceum No. 161);
  • Maiia Dychuk (Kharkiv Physics and Mathematics Scientific Lyceum No. 27);

The participation of the Ukrainian team in the international tournament became possible thanks to the support of the international technology company Ajax Systems, as well as a crowdfunding campaign supported by alumni of V. Through these joint efforts, the team’s travel expenses, registration fee, and participation in the competition were fully covered.

Accompanying the team to Zurich were Karazin University students Anna Bieliaieva and Illia Khoroshko, as well as postgraduate student Hryhorii Ovcharenko, who assisted in preparing the team and accompanied the participants during the tournament.

The International Young Physicists’ Tournament is a team competition for school students in which participants present their own scientific research, defend their solutions, and engage in scientific discussions, demonstrating a high level of knowledge, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.

We sincerely congratulate the “Moment of Impulse” team, its mentors, and everyone involved in preparing the young physicists on this outstanding international achievement! This is yet another confirmation that Kharkiv remains a city of talented youth, a strong scientific school, and high-quality science education.

We wish the young scientists new discoveries, inspiration, and further victories on the international stage! Our deepest respect goes to the team leader, Zakhar Maizelis, Professor of the School of Physics of the University.
