Karazin University Deepens Cooperation with the National Mediation and Reconciliation Service in the Kharkiv Region

On October 30, a meeting took place between the head of the National Mediation and Reconciliation Service in the Kharkiv region, Serhiy Laikov, and his deputy, Halyna Klochko, with the rector of the university, Tetiana Kaganovska, and the dean of the School of Sociology, Olena Muradian.

The purpose of the meeting was to deepen bilateral cooperation in the fields of education and research, as well as to develop and expand relations. The participants summarized the fruitful cooperation between the department and the School of Sociology of the university over the years, including:

• Participation in meetings, roundtable discussions, and debates.
• Delivering lectures to university students.
• Conducting sociological research.

During the meeting, they discussed the prospects for further collaboration in the fields of education, research, organizational and educational activities, culture, and more. The attendees considered the possibility of organizing joint seminars, conferences, research projects, lectures, and agreed on sharing experiences, information, and the results of work in areas of common interest.

The outcome of the meeting was the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and the Department of the National Mediation and Reconciliation Service in the Kharkiv region, valid until October 31, 2028.
