Professor of Philosophy at Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) Jacob Stegenga visited Karazin University

On 29 May 2026, at the invitation of the Education and Research Institute of Philosophy, Cultural Studies, and Political Science, Karazin University welcomed Jacob Stegenga, Professor of Philosophy at Nanyang Technological University (Singapore). As part of the visit, Professor Stegenga met with the Rector of the University, Tetyana Kaganovska.

He also delivered a lecture entitled “Philosophy of Science” for the University’s academic staff and PhD students in both online and in-person formats.

During the lecture, Professor Stegenga presented his recently published book, The Heart of Science. A series of lectures by Professor Stegenga for Karazin University students and PhD candidates is also planned.
