V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University Among the Leaders of the Universities Cup 2026

On May 18, 2026, the closing ceremony of the Universities Programming Cup 2026 took place at the art space YermilovCentre — an event that brought together students from various higher education institutions across Kharkiv.

According to the overall ranking results, V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University proudly took 2nd place among the universities of the city. In addition, the team received a special Universities Cup award in recognition of its significant contribution to the development of the student movement and the organization of the competition.

A special source of pride is our student volunteers. Out of all the students involved in organizing the Cup, six represented Karazin University. Thank you for your energy and dedication! During the event, the Rector of the university, Tetiana Kahanovska, expressed gratitude to the students and partners: “Thank you to our students, as well as to our colleagues from other universities in Kharkiv. It is thanks to your energy and unity that this Cup became a true celebration of science and creativity.” The ceremony was attended by representatives of leading higher education institutions in Kharkiv, including:

• National Aerospace University “Kharkiv Aviation Institute”;
• National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”.
