Bank Employee Day

Every year on May 20, Ukraine celebrates Bank Employee Day, established by a Decree of the President of Ukraine in 2004. The holiday aims to honor the work of financial sector professionals who ensure the functioning and development of the banking system. It is also an opportunity to recognize their contribution to the country’s economy, thanks to their daily professional efforts.

Ukraine’s banking system continues to operate even under challenging conditions, ensuring the continuity of economic processes and the stable functioning of the financial infrastructure. For V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, this holiday holds special significance: the Education and Research Institute “Karazin Banking Institute” has been training highly qualified specialists in banking, finance, and credit for decades. Today, our graduates work in leading banks and financial institutions across Ukraine, making a daily contribution to the development of the national economy.
