Alumni Day

Alumni Day is the most important annual holiday for all the University alumni. For almost a year, the organizers work on its preparation.

The first Karazin University Alumni Day was held on April 19, 2008 on the initiative of the Association of Alumni, Faculty and Friends of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. Since then, every third Saturday of April, alumni gather within the University walls.

On this day, alumni recall the best moments of their student life, youth, favorite lecturers and mentors who shared knowledge, experience, wisdom, taught them what is good and eternal. This holiday gives all its participants unforgettable impressions, warm memories and good spirits for many years.

A variety of cultural and entertainment events usually await alumni, employees and faculty. In particular, there is an interactive photo studio “My University”, an exhibition of photos of the University students, you can visit the University History Museum, the Museum of Archeology, the Center for Contemporary Art “Yermilov Center”, the Center for Interactive Science “Landau Center”, Henryk Siemiradzki Art Gallery, the University Observatory, the Botanical Garden, all the Schools open their doors, welcoming their alumni.
