KNMU Student Fatima Huseynova was Killed in a Russian Attack: Karazin University Community Extends Its Condolences

The community of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University extends its heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of Fatima Huseynova, as well as to the entire community of Kharkiv National Medical University, following the tragic death of the first-year medical student.

A future physician who dreamed of saving lives, Fatima was killed as a result of another Russian attack. Her life was cut tragically short, leaving behind immeasurable grief and an irreplaceable loss.

Karazin University also educates future healthcare professionals. We understand all too well the profound pain of losing a young person who chose a life of service to others, dedicated herself to medicine, and was only beginning her professional journey. This loss resonates deeply with everyone who teaches, studies, and works to protect and save human lives.

We bow our heads in mourning and share the grief of her family, friends, fellow students, teachers, and all who knew Fatima.
