Associate Professor at the School of Economics Heads the Dzherelo Educational Centre in Azerbaijan

Tetiana Chatchenko, Associate Professor at the School of Economics of Karazin University, heads the Dzherelo educational centre in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The centre brings together people working to promote Ukrainian education abroad and preserve the Ukrainian language and culture. Another important area of its work is the development and strengthening of Ukrainian-Azerbaijani educational cooperation.

Dzherelo’s activities preserve Ukraine’s educational and cultural presence beyond its borders, support the Ukrainian language, and create opportunities for continued cooperation between the educational communities of the two countries.

To mark Education Workers’ Day, a celebratory event was held at the Dzherelo educational centre. The event was attended by Yurii Husiev, Ambassador of Ukraine to Azerbaijan, who met with representatives of the centre.

During the ceremony, the Ambassador presented Letters of Appreciation from the Embassy of Ukraine to teachers and active members of the educational centre in recognition of their work in education and their contribution to maintaining Ukraine’s educational and cultural presence in Azerbaijan.

Tetiana Chatchenko, a representative of Karazin University’s Faculty of Economics and head of the Dzherelo centre, was among those honoured.

It is particularly important for our School that the professional activities of its representatives continue to contribute to the development of Ukrainian education and international academic cooperation.

We are proud of our colleague and wish her continued success in advancing educational initiatives and strengthening international ties!
