On March 14, Oleksandr Mishchenko, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, visited Karazin University. He held meetings with Karazin students, as well as with the University’s Rector Tetyana Kaganovska and Director of the Education and Research Institute "Karazin Institute of International Relations and Travel Business" Mykola Pysarevskyi. During the final meeting, they discussed future cooperation between the university and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, focusing on the quality training of international relations students for future work in MFA bodies.
Throughout the meeting, Oleksandr Mishchenko spoke about the preparation of international relations specialists in Ukrainian higher education institutions, opportunities for internships at diplomatic missions, and career prospects in the field of international relations.
The Deputy Minister supplemented his speech with personal examples from his own life: "I myself went through the difficult path of diplomacy, and I recall it with great pleasure. I don't want young people to think that everything comes easily. If something comes easily, it is worth nothing."
As Oleksandr emphasized, the purpose of the visit to Karazin was to show students that they can realize their potential in their desired field and assure them that the Ministry is ready to encourage young people to gain practical skills, which will be crucial when seeking employment
