On May 6, 2026, students of the School of Mathematics and Computer Science visited the Munich office of the international consulting company in IT and business processes CGI (CGI Group, Inc.) in Germany.

This is already the fourth time that Karazin students have been given the opportunity not only to attend talks on interesting and relevant topics, but also to participate in a workshop.

The meetings are organized by the company employee Anna Reis.

During the visit, the students learned more about the company itself — a company that has 400 locations in 40 countries around the world and operates in a highly diverse range of fields.

CGI’s clients include large organizations to which the company helps transform requirements into forward-looking solutions and implement projects that bring tangible benefits and create real added value.

Mintra Pollinger from the Human Resources department explained how one can join the company — both for employment and internships. She also outlined possible career paths for different specialties.

Perica Dragun and Pierre Souchaseth delivered a very interesting presentation on artificial intelligence.

Later, two employees from Ukraine shared their own career journeys within the company.

Students also participated in a Design Thinking workshop, where they were able to try different roles and demonstrate creativity and innovation.

The university expresses gratitude to the company and its employees for their cooperation, support, and the motivational impulse that further inspires learning and confirms students’ professional choices.
