The program "Leaders of University Transformation for Ukraine's Recovery" aims to create a new generation of leaders and managers, enhancing the competitiveness of Ukrainian educational institutions.

Karazin University participates in the program jointly with five leading higher education institutions in Ukraine: Zaporizhzhia National University, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Mariupol State University, Dnipro National Technical University "Dnipro Polytechnic," and Lviv Polytechnic National University.

The Karazin University delegation included Rector Tetyana Kaganovska, Vice-Rector Anatolii Babichev, Director of the Center for Postgraduate Education Tetyana Cherednichenko, Dean of the School of Sociology Olena Muradian, and Acting Dean of the School of Economics Vitalii Diachek.

The program was initiated by the President of Ukraine's Fund with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the British Council in Ukraine. It is of great importance to the Karazin community to unite with other universities and their teams during these challenging times. Interaction among individuals, teams, and structures from all corners of our country is essential. We believe that this pilot cycle will be the first step in a perspective cooperation and the realization of large-scale projects.

Thanks to this program, universities will gain new opportunities:

  • For joint research with international partners and universities.
  • To facilitate the mobility of Ukrainian students.

For financial sustainability and autonomy of higher education institutions. The program includes four modules:

  • "The New Role of Universities"
  • "Strategies and Changes in Higher Education"
  • "Leadership and University Autonomy"
  • "Financial Management and Project Management for University Development"

In February 2024, university teams will present projects of institutional changes.

Karazin University is grateful for the new opportunities and believes that this program will mark a new stage of effective and global cooperation.
