The Vice-Rector Zarif Nazirov Met with the Ambassador of Egypt to Ukraine

On January 9, 2025, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Zarif Nazirov visited the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Ukraine.

The meeting was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Egypt, Mr. Barakat El-Laity, and the Consul of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Ukraine, Mr. Nosam Nureddin.

The parties discussed key areas of cooperation in education, science, and culture. The main focus was placed on the implementation of joint projects, including:

• the creation of dual degree programs with leading Egyptian universities,
• the opening of a Ukrainian Language Center in Egypt,
• the organization of collaborative work with the libraries of Egyptian universities,
• the development of scientific research within the framework of international cooperation.

Additionally, attention was given to the further development of Arabic language teaching at Karazin University, which will contribute to strengthening cultural and educational dialogue between Ukraine and the Arab world.

As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed on specific steps to implement the outlined initiatives.

Karazin University continues to actively develop international cooperation, strengthening ties with partner institutions from around the world.
