Happy International Women's Day!

March 8 is traditionally celebrated as International Women’s Day, which marks women’s political, economic, social and cultural achievements.

In 1977, the holiday was officially established by the United Nations. In many countries, this day is associated with the protection of women’s rights and international peace.

Today, March 8 is considered a day of spring, women’s beauty, tenderness, spiritual wisdom and respect for the woman, regardless of her status and age.

Among the Karazin University community are many outstanding women representing both the exact sciences and the humanities, whose scientific ideas and inventions have made a significant contribution to the development of science and social life.
