Karazin University Welcomes Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Azerbaijan
Karazin University was visited on a working visit by Yurii Husiev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Azerbaijan. During his meeting with the university administration, headed by Acting Rector Tetyana Kaganovska, current areas of international educational and research cooperation were discussed.
Acting Rector Tetyana Kaganovska briefed the Ambassador on the results of the 2026 admission campaign. This year, more than 19,000 applications were submitted to Karazin University, significantly exceeding the figures of previous years and demonstrating growing interest among applicants in studying at Karazin University.
Yurii Husiev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Azerbaijan, noted the significant achievements of Karazin University and highly praised its active role in the international scientific community. Particular attention was paid to the university’s international development strategy and the expansion of its partnership network. In particular, the meeting addressed opportunities for cooperation between Karazin University, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, and the network of diplomatic missions to develop new international partnerships and implement joint educational and research initiatives not only in Azerbaijan but also in other countries around the world.
The meeting marked an important step towards strengthening Karazin University’s international ties and exploring new opportunities to enhance its academic and research presence worldwide.
