Karazin University took part in the XXXI Kharkiv City Tournament of Young Physicists

On October 28-30, the XXXI Kharkiv City Tournament of Young Physicists took place in the online format, in which 9 teams took part. Participants, team leaders and members of the jury joined the tournament from different cities and countries.

Once again, the collective Lyceum "Impuls" together with the 27th Lyceum won the victory. The winning team "Moment of Impulse" was prepared by Zakhar Maizelis, professor of the Faculty of Physics of the Karazin University.

The second place was won by the teams "Isotopes" from the Slobidskiy district and "Little Cogs" from the Saltivskiy district. The third place was shared by the teams of the Novobavarskiy district and the boarding lyceum "Gift". The jury also recognized a number of participants for success in the individual competition.

Hero of Ukraine Ilya Gelfgat, chief researcher of the "Institute of Modernization of Education Content" Borys Kreminsky, physics teacher of the Richelieu Lyceum Valery Koleboshin, president of the International Student Physicist Tournament, graduate of the National Institute of Physics and Technology "Faculty of Physics" Anastasia Vasylchenkova, veterans of Oleksandra Kamina tournament professors, graduates and students of Karazin University took part in the judging of the tournament. The jury was traditionally chaired by the director of the Institute of Physics and Technology, Ihor Girka.
