On April 10, 2024, the latest edition of the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024 was released. The rankings included 1,559 higher education institutions from around the world, evaluated across 55 subjects in 5 broad subject areas.
Karazin University made it into two subject rankings: "Computer Science and Information Systems" and "Physics and Astronomy." In the field of "Computer Science and Information Systems," the university holds a position within the range of 601–650, and in "Physics and Astronomy," it holds a position within the range of 501–500.
