International Day of Liberation of Nazi Concentration Camp Prisoners
Today we honor the memory of millions of people who became victims of Nazi terror and endured inhumane suffering in concentration camps. This date is a symbol of grief and pain, as well as the resilience of the human spirit, which managed to endure even in the darkest circumstances.
We bow our heads to those who perished in the death camps and express our deep respect to the few who survived these horrors and preserved the truth about crimes against humanity.
The memory of these events serves as a warning to all humanity. It reminds us of the value of freedom, dignity, and peace, and of the need to resist any manifestations of hatred, totalitarianism, and violence.
We are obliged to preserve this historical memory and pass it on to future generations so that such tragedies never happen again.
Eternal memory to all victims of Nazism.
