Brilliant Results of Karazin Skate Division Club: Karazin Students Conquered the Regional Roller Sports Tournament

On February 25, 2026, the Karazin University team “Karazin Skate Division Club” delivered a triumphant performance at the Regional Tournament No. 2 in roller sports and general physical training (GPT). Our students demonstrated a high level of skill, speed, and endurance, adding a significant number of awards to the university’s achievements.

The competitions were held in several disciplines, and in each of them Karazin students showed excellent results.

General Physical Training (Shuttle Run):

• 1st place: Alona Bielozorova (School of Medicine, 2nd year);
• 2nd place: Nataliia Shalnova (School of Medicine, 2nd year) and Denys Ahafonov (School of Biology, 4th year);
• 3rd place: Kateryna Kasianova (Education and Research Institute of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence).

“Acceleration–Stop” discipline:

• 1st place: Anzhelika Sharyha (Education and Research Institute of Sociology and Media Communications, 1st year);
• 2nd place: Zlata Petrova (School of Medicine, 1st year);
• 3rd place: Dar’ia Zmiova (Education and Research Institute “Karazin Banking Institute”, 1st year).

“Slalom (Snake)” discipline:

Absolute leaders in this category were:

• 1st place: Denys Ahafonov (School of Biology, 4th year);
• 1st place: Kateryna Kasianova (Education and Research Institute of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence);
• 1st place: Ruslana Bayramova (School of Economics, 1st year).

“Figure Eight Side Step” discipline:

• 1st place: Denys Ahafonov (School of Biology, 4th year);
• 1st place: Ruslana Bayramova (School of Economics, 1st year);
• 1st place: Kateryna Kasianova (Education and Research Institute of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence);
• 1st place: Dar’ia Huzii (School of Medicine, 1st year);
• 2nd place: Anastasiia Kucherenko (Education and Research Institute “UIPA”, 2nd year).
