On October 20, 2022, a landmark event for IT education took place — IT Ukraine Education Summit 2022, which was attended by 29 speakers and more than 500 participants in the online mode.

IT Ukraine Education Summit 2022 gathered highly qualified IT industry experts, representatives of the state, business and educational institutions. Speakers from well-known IT companies, including SoftServe, Sigma Software, ERAM, GlobalLogic, educational institutions KSE, DAN.IT Education, Mate Academy, STEM school INVENTOR, SET University, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Science and Education shared their experience, knowledge and forecasts. of Ukraine, Karazin University, Ukrainian Catholic University, Kyiv National University named after Taras Shevchenko, regional IT clusters and many others.

Volodymyr Berest, head of the department of molecular and medical biophysics of the faculty of radiophysics, biomedical electronics and computer systems, spoke at the panel discussion "Practical tools for improving the quality of higher education (experience of participants of the Teachers Internship project)".

He spoke about the experience of organizing high-quality training of future IT specialists at the Faculty of Radiophysics, Biomedical Electronics and Computer Systems within non-canonical computer specialties: 105 Applied Physics and Nanomaterials (educational program "Radiophysics, Biophysics and Computer Systems") and 153 Micro- and nanosystem engineering (educational program "Biomedical electronics and computer systems").

In his speech, Volodymyr Berest emphasized the need for the formation of project thinking in students, a problem-oriented model approach to solving professional tasks, and spoke about the positive experience of involving students of the Faculty of Radiophysics, Biomedical Electronics and Computer Systems in the implementation of R&D projects.
