Meeting of the Academic and Methodological Council of the University

On April 14, 2026, a regular meeting of the Academic and Methodological Council of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University took place, during which issues regarding the recommendation for approval by the University's Academic Council of a number of new and updated educational programmes were considered.

On the agenda, members of the Academic and Methodological Council discussed educational and professional as well as educational and scientific programmes at the bachelor’s and master’s levels of higher education in the fields of management, economics, Earth sciences, information technology, and robotics. In particular, the following programmes were presented:

• “Compliance Management” at the first (bachelor’s) and second (master’s) levels of higher education,
• the interdisciplinary programme “Management and Accounting in Commercial Activities”,
• “Earth Sciences (Geography, Cartography, Geoinformatics, Geotourism)”,
• the interdisciplinary programme “Cyber-Physical Systems and Robotics”,
• “Industrial Economics” at the first (bachelor’s) and second (master’s) levels of higher education,
• The educational and scientific programme “Economics”.

The review and updating of educational programmes is an important component of the university’s systematic efforts to improve the content of education, expand interdisciplinary learning opportunities, and ensure that educational offerings meet modern labour market demands and academic standards.
