Admissions 2026: Entrance Examinations for Certain Categories of Applicants to Be Held Remotely

In accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine "On Approval of Amendments to the Procedure for Admission to Higher Education in 2026" No. 936 dated 16 June 2026 and pursuant to the decision of the Admissions Committee of Karazin University, entrance examinations for certain categories of applicants will be conducted remotely.

This applies to the following categories of applicants:

  • persons residing in temporarily occupied territories;
  • military personnel, police officers, and rescuers directly involved in ensuring national security and defence, as well as repelling and deterring armed aggression;
  • applicants taking a professional entrance examination or professional assessment for admission to Master's degree programmes;
  • doctoral applicants taking the speciality entrance examination and presenting their research proposals and achievements for admission to Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes;
  • applicants seeking education funded by individuals and/or legal entities in another speciality (educational programme) based on a previously obtained degree at the same or a higher level of education.

This decision is aimed at ensuring accessible admission to the University and creating safe and equal conditions for all categories of applicants.
