Karazin Representatives at an International Event: Participation in the Digital Humanism Summer School 2026 and Expert Presentations in Vienna

Representatives of Karazin University took part in the 5th ACM Europe Digital Humanism Summer School, held at TU Wien with the support of the EURIDICE project. The Summer School brought together young researchers, scholars, and experts from various countries to discuss the challenges and opportunities of artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and the concept of digital humanism. The event was organised in cooperation with the European Summer School on Artificial Intelligence (ESSAI 2026) and became one of Europe's leading platforms for interdisciplinary dialogue in the fields of AI and digital technologies.

The participants from Karazin University included doctoral students and university staff members: Mykhailo Protsenko, Mykhailo Trusov, Denys Sadilo, Oleksandra Frolova, and Yevhen Raievskyi. They had the opportunity to work alongside leading international researchers and participate in lectures, discussions, and workshops devoted to the ethical, social, and technological aspects of the development of artificial intelligence and the digital society.

A particularly significant event was the participation of Karazin University representatives as speakers at a separate international event held within the Summer School programme. Presentations were delivered by Dmytro Uzlov, Director of the Education and Research Institute of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence; Denys Sadilo, a doctoral student at Karazin University; and Mykhailo Trusov, a doctoral student at Karazin University.

During their presentations, they showcased Karazin University's experience in the development of artificial intelligence, digital education, and international cooperation, and also took part in discussions on current trends in the development of human-centred digital technologies. Participation in events of this level confirms Karazin University's active integration into the European research area, the development of international academic partnerships, and the significant contribution of the university community to shaping the future of the digital society.
