Karazin University Expresses Solidarity with the State University of Trade and Economics
Karazin University expresses its sincere support for colleagues, students, and staff of the State University of Trade and Economics, which was affected by Russia’s ballistic missile attack on Kyiv during the night of 27 October.
The attack damaged the University’s academic buildings and student dormitories. Students and staff were among those injured, with two students sustaining serious injuries. We wish all those injured strength and a speedy recovery.
Russian attacks destroy the spaces in which academic life unfolds, but they cannot diminish the value of education and research.
The Karazin University community stands in solidarity with our colleagues at the State University of Trade and Economics. We wish them resilience and strength as they overcome the consequences of the attack and work towards restoring full operations as soon as possible.
