Digital Education Center at Karazin University: learning is interesting and fun!
On June 6, the Digital Education Center, a multifunctional space for children aged 6 to 17, was opened!
The project is organized jointly by Karazin Business School, AVSI Foundation, Emmaus NGO and partner organizations.
There will be 4 classes for the students:
- Drawing with English support;
- developmental chemistry and biology;
- graphic design;
- economic literacy;
- and, additionally, counseling with a psychologist.
All classes will be held in a safe space, and children will have the opportunity to use laptops, tablets, printers and the Internet.
Tetyana Kahanovska, the Rector of Karazin University, attended the opening of the Digital Education Center: "I want this center to be a place that allows children to open up despite all the circumstances. I want them not to be afraid to think, to express their point of view and to be creative. Sometimes you hear our children and realize that they are smarter than we were at their age. We have a lot to learn from them. It seems to me that we don't get depressed during the year, we fight and win, and we will definitely win this war thanks to our children. Everything will be Ukraine! Glory to Ukraine!"
Director of Karazin Business School Serhiy Berenda thanked everyone who took part in the center's opening: "There are a lot of children, they are interested, they want to join us, and today the first lesson will be held. I would like to thank everyone who participated, my colleagues who helped with the repairs and organizational issues!"
During the opening, the teachers of the center immediately demonstrated mini-classes in all the presented areas!
The center's working hours are Monday - Friday from 9:00 to 17:00.
