The Third Transnational Partner Meeting of the Erasmus+ Project CRED4TEACH
As part of the management and results dissemination of the Erasmus+ project "MOOC-Based Micro-credentials for Professional Teacher Development," the third Transnational Project Meeting was held in Albania from October 9-11, bringing together partners from Germany, Ukraine, Portugal, Estonia, Turkey, Montenegro, and Albania.
Representing the Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogics Academy of Karazin University, Professor and Deputy Director Oleksandr Kupriyanov, Professor and Acting Head of the Department of Information Computer Technologies and Mathematics Olesia Nechuiviter, and Deputy Head of the International Relations Department of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University Roman Nesterenko participated in the event.
At Ismail Qemali University in Vlore, project participants from Ukraine, Albania, and Montenegro presented National Programs for the awarding of micro-credentials. Olesia Nechuiviter delivered a report on the implementation of a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) with the awarding of micro-credentials at the Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogics Academy of Karazin University. Partner universities and experts in the development and implementation of new innovative methods for reforming teacher professional development programs joined the discussion on quality assurance and institutional accreditation of MOOCs with micro-credentials.
The international conference "Competence Building: Micro-credentials for Teacher Growth and Excellence CRED4TEACH," held on October 10, gathered around 200 educators. The main focus of the conference was on modern alternatives for improving the system of teacher training and qualifications. Renowned experts and practitioners at the forefront of teacher education and micro-certification delivered 15 presentations in five panels, including a report by Oleksandr Kupriyanov on "Global Micro-credentials Trends and Best Practices in Education."
As part of the cultural program, participants visited the old town as well as Zvernec Island, home to the Mary Monastery, also known as the Dormition of the Holy Virgin Monastery.
