Karazin University Student Becomes Laureate of the "Young Person of the Year – 2026" City Competition

Polina Yudina, a student of the Education and Research Institute "Institute of Public Administration" of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and Chair of the Institute's Student Council, has become a laureate of the city competition "Young Person of the Year – 2026" in the nomination "Public Activity."

The competition annually recognises active, talented, and initiative-driven young people of Kharkiv whose activities make a significant contribution to the development of the city, the implementation of socially important initiatives, volunteer projects, youth policy, and civil society.

Polina's award is the result of her many years of active civic engagement, leadership in student self-government, and continuous work on implementing youth, educational, and social initiatives. As Chair of the Student Council of the Education and Research Institute "Institute of Public Administration," she actively develops student self-governance, organises educational, charitable, and cultural events, represents students' interests, and contributes to expanding opportunities for young people both within and beyond the University.

In addition to her activities at Karazin University, Polina actively participates in the work of youth advisory and consultative bodies at various levels, implements civic projects, and engages in international youth programmes and initiatives aimed at developing youth policy, promoting civic engagement, and supporting Ukraine's recovery.

The community of V. N.
