School and Workshop on Ultrafast Electronics in Trieste

This event will bring together two active areas of quantum research: ultrafast electronic physics and quantum thermodynamics.

The organizers aim to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and initiate cross-disciplinary collaborations by bringing together participants at different career stages, including undergraduate and graduate students, early-career researchers, and experienced scientists.

Main topics:

• single-particle excitations with integer and fractional charge;
• solid-state qubits and quantum algorithms;
• quantum materials;
• quantum thermodynamics;
• ultrafast quantum nanoelectronics.
