New Partner of the Second School of Medicine: the Center for Innovative Medical Technologies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine

The development of the healthcare sector requires synergy between cutting-edge science and practical expertise. Recently, an official delegation from Karazin University visited the State Scientific Institution “Center for Innovative Medical Technologies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine” (Kyiv). The university delegation included Vice-Rector for Research and Teaching Anatolii Babichev and Dean of the Second School of Medicine Oleksandr Kozlov.

The State Scientific Institution “Center for Innovative Medical Technologies of the NAS of Ukraine” is a modern world-class medical and research center. The institution successfully combines the functions of an academic research organization and a state-of-the-art clinical facility. It specializes in the development, expert evaluation, and implementation of advanced medical technologies, conducts fundamental research in healthcare, and actively develops educational activities through its training center and continuing professional development programs for healthcare professionals.

Following the meeting and a detailed review of the institution’s facilities and research infrastructure, several strategically important agreements were reached:

  • The parties confirmed their commitment to joint scientific activities and the consolidation of efforts in conducting clinical and fundamental research;
  • a solid foundation was established for effective cooperation in the educational and practical training of medical interns;
  • Prospects for collaboration in postgraduate medical education, continuing professional development activities, and specialist training programs for physicians were outlined.

We continue moving forward, expanding the boundaries of what is possible, and confidently shaping the future of Ukrainian medicine together!

Based on the agreements reached, the Center for Postgraduate Medical Education of the Second School of Medicine announces enrollment for internship training in several medical specialties, with the educational component of the internship to be conducted at the State Scientific Institution “Center for Innovative Medical Technologies of the NAS of Ukraine.” This is an outstanding opportunity for future medical interns to train at one of the most advanced healthcare institutions in Ukraine.
