The work of the Karazin University humanitarian headquarters
The Karazin humanitarian headquarters continues to work 24/7 and help everyone in need.
From the first days of the war, he started his activities aimed at helping students, university employees and members of their families. During the operation of the headquarters since the beginning of the military aggression, more than 1,000 students and employees were provided with food, medicine, and hygiene products.
The trade union committee provided support to trade union activists, university members who were in the city of Kharkiv and suffered as a result of military aggression, and paid aid to the families of the dead workers.
And here is what was achieved during this period in concrete figures.
- In the first month of the war, employees of the headquarters delivered food to at least 5 dormitories with an average of 50 students each day.
- During the 2 months of the war, the trade union of students, post-graduate students and doctoral students of the university paid out assistance in the amount of 64,000 hryvnias to the students and transferred 15,000 hryvnias to the needs of the Kharkiv Terrodefense.

- We have been supported by 10 partners, in particular, with food products, clothing, travel equipment, personal hygiene products, medicines, Starlink devices, equipment for the Armed Forces, etc.
And a lot of work that continues to be done every day. Once again they were convinced that we are a real family that cannot leave loved ones in difficult times. The university thanks all partners who send humanitarian aid, all benefactors who transfer money to the account of our headquarters, all volunteers and employees of Karazinsky humanitarian headquarters who process applications, deliver aid and resolve various issues. As well as the Alumni Association, which finances various projects to help Karazenians, in particular, provided the purchase of medicines and products, the transportation of evacuated Karazenians, the purchase of laptops, etc.
We express our gratitude from the bottom of our hearts.
