Karazin University Representatives Held a Working Meeting with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Iryna Borovets
On July 30, representatives of Karazin University met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Iryna Borovets.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss current qualification requirements and demands for specialists in the fields of international relations, diplomatic service, and public diplomacy, particularly with the subsequent adaptation of educational programs and their implementation in the educational process.
The meeting was attended by Vice-Rector for Research and Teaching and representatives of the Karazin Institute of International Relations and Tourism Business, Mykola Pysarevskyi and Nataliya Vinnikova.
The focus of the discussion was on strengthening the practical component of training future specialists in diplomatic departments and expanding the scope of language training. Among other issues, the possibility of introducing short-term training programs for scientific and pedagogical workers who train specialists in international relations was considered.
Also, during the meeting with the leadership of the Kyiv School of Diplomatic Arts, the potential of informal education practices in the training of specialists in the field of international relations was discussed.
