Karazin University Signs Cooperation Agreement with the V. H. Korolenko Kharkiv State Scientific Library

Karazin University and the V. H. Korolenko Kharkiv State Scientific Library have signed a cooperation agreement. The agreement provides for non-commercial cooperation in supporting educational and research activities with information resources, developing academic communication, supporting research, providing practical training for students, promoting the professional development of staff, preserving and promoting documentary and cultural heritage, developing digital resources, and implementing joint educational, research, cultural, and international projects.

The key units responsible for inter-institutional communication and cooperation have been designated as the P. T. Tronko Centre for Ukrainian Studies and Local History on behalf of Karazin University and the T. H. Shevchenko Department “Ukrainica” on behalf of the V. H. Korolenko Kharkiv State Scientific Library.

The V. H. Korolenko Kharkiv State Scientific Library is one of the largest and oldest libraries in Ukraine. It has longstanding and close ties with Karazin University. Many professors, alumni, and students of Karazin University have played a role in the library’s history, contributing to its ongoing development and using it as readers. The new agreement creates opportunities to further develop this partnership in the fields of science, culture, and education.
