Charity auction in support of Karazin University
We all know that our university has a very difficult time in this war. But the university is still living. The university is working. Wounds should be treated for this university. This is impossible without the help of their graduates and everyone who values the university.
A graduate and social worker, Maryna Litovchenko, a Paralympic table tennis champion, launches a charity auction and exhibits her Paralympic gold medal. Marina gives the most expensive of her awards so that the university can live and work fully. It is especially symbolic that in the semifinals and finals of the Paralympics in Tokyo in 2021, Marina defeated two representatives of Russia with a crushing score of 3-0, showing an indomitable spirit and desire for the much-needed victory.
University is as important a part of her life as sports. Marina has always had a share of university support in her sports victories - and now she wants to support the university as much as possible. The university desperately needs the support of university people, the university community.
Participate — we will support the university together!
Another pride of the country and a close friend of Marina, Lyudmila Lyashenko, joined the initiative. She has been to the University and the Faculty of Sociology several times and also decided to sell two of her 2018 Paralympic medals (bronze and gold) and donate to the University.
Marina and Lyudmila will personally manage the process, so anyone can write in the comments below their posts or in personal messages about their readiness to participate in the auction. It will last until April 30. The starting price of each Paralympic medal is USD 10,000.
Anyone who wants to support the University can make a transfer to the account of the University Alumni Association. Everyone who makes a transfer from USD 50 will receive autographed postcards from Marina and Lyudmila, which they will personally send after the auction.
