Academic Programs
The Educational and Research Institute of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence offers Bachelor’s degree programs in the following fields: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity and Information Protection, Automation, Computer-Integrated Technologies, and Robotics, Master’s degree programs are offered in: Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity and Information Protection, Automation, Computer-Integrated Technologies, and Robotics.
Duration of studies: Bachelor’s degree: 4 years, Master’s degree: 1.5 years based on a Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree in Software Engineering: 2 years based on a Bachelor’s degree.
The Institute also provides doctoral (PhD) training in: Computer Science, Cybersecurity and Information Protection, The Institute comprises four departments and an Innovation Center for the Development of Intelligent Systems.
History
The Education and Research Institute of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence was established on August 7, 2001 through the joint efforts of the School of Mechanics and Mathematics and the School of Physics and Technology of the University. In subsequent years, the Institute expanded its areas of professional training, significantly strengthened its material and technical resources, and increased the scope of its research activities. In 2007, the Information Technology Center was established.
The specificity of specialist training lies in preparing professionals for high-tech industries related to computer-based control systems and information security of modern information systems, process modeling and control, development and operation of computer control systems for complex communication and radio-electronic complexes, as well as the development of modern cybersecurity systems.
