World Day for Safety and Health at Work
On April 28, the global community marks World Day for Safety and Health at Work — a day dedicated to highlighting the value of human life and health, the importance of safe and decent working conditions, and the promotion of a culture of occupational risk prevention.
At V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, issues of safety and occupational health are an integral part of the educational process and everyday activity. Creating a safe learning environment, complying with occupational safety legislation, and ensuring the physical and psychological well-being of staff and students are among the university’s key priorities.
World Day for Safety and Health at Work is an opportunity to emphasize the shared responsibility of everyone for following safety rules, increasing awareness of potential risks, and fostering a conscious attitude toward personal health and the safety of others.
We wish all staff and students strong health, safe working and learning conditions, confidence in the future, and well-being!
