Table Tennis Tournament within the Kharkiv Student Sports Leagues: the Results

On 4–5 June 2026, a table tennis tournament was held as part of the Kharkiv Student Sports Leagues program, in which Karazin University was represented by two teams.

The bronze medal of the competition was won by the first Karazin University team, represented by Snizhana Kovryhina (Education and Research Institute “Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogics Academy”), Bohdan Borodin (Education and Research Institute of Philosophy, Cultural Studies and Political Science), and Daniil Pavlusenko (Education and Research Institute of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence).

The second team, consisting of Diana Honcharenko (Educational and Research Institute “Karazin Institute of International Relations and Travel Business”), Ivan Pyvovar (Education and Research Institute of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence), Dmytro Dolia (Education and Research Institute of Ecology, Green Energy and Sustainable Development), and Danylo Bohun (School of Psychology), took 5th place in the competition.

The tournament was won by students of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, while the silver medals were claimed by the team from Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University.

In total, 9 teams from higher education institutions of Kharkiv participated in the tournament. All teams demonstrated a high level of preparation, competitive spirit, and determination to win.

The student leagues initiative is implemented with the support of the Kharkiv City Council and the Department for Family, Youth, and Sports Affairs, aiming to develop student sports, promote a healthy lifestyle, and foster an active youth environment in Kharkiv.
